Welcome New HAVOC Applicant,


We would like to thank you for your registration with the Houston Area Volleyball Chapter (HAVOC). Your inclusion with our team is highly valued, and we look forward to working with you. To ensure good standing within our chapter, we kindly request that you review and complete the necessary information provided below. This will finalize your registration and ensure compliance with our Chapter's regulations. Thank you in advance for your attention to these details.


  • Please find enclosed your HAVOC application and preference sheet.



You are required to attend four of the six scheduled chapter meetings to keep in good standing with HAVOC. Please take the time to mark the following dates on your calendar. Late memberships will still require attendance at four of the six scheduled meetings.  If you are unable to attend any of the scheduled meetings below, please email me in advance and let me know (Cbrennan79.cb@gmail.com). Please let me know of any work-related conflicts or if an emergency arises. If you are working a match for our chapter, your absence will be excused.  Some meetings may be held via Zoom. All Zoom meeting notices will be posted on the HAVOC website. (www.havocvball.org)

Applications will not be accepted without your full payment of fees. Please send your completed application, Local fee ($25), and HAVOC Secretary Fee ($15) using one of the methods below:

Preference Sheet

Please reach out to our scheduler, Mary Siebert, for instructions on how to complete your preference sheet. Your completed preference sheet (front and back) with a $50.00 deposit should be sent to Blair Gillard.

  • Classroom Training: Tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, June 5th, at Lutheran North High School, 6:00 PM. The remaining classroom trainings are tentatively scheduled for June 10-13th, 6:30 pm at Lutheran North HS. (As a new HAVOC official, you will be required to attend all of these training sessions) 


  • TASO State or Regional Clinic: You must attend either the state or regional TASO clinic. Dates TBA


  • Required Court Training: TBA, be on the lookout for these dates.  


  • Online Testing: Will be opened in July and should be completed by August 9, 2024.  Your test must be completed before you’re scheduled to work.  Dues are non-refundable if you do not complete your certification.
